GregFingers en ballade à “Extrema” 2006, l’un des festival Trance les plus courus de Hollande [plus de 80 000 participants], ne pouvait revenir sans rien à nous faire écouter.

Avec son vieux complice Nicolas (dit Bouchy) qui a ramené quelques images, il s’est laissé tenter par la sonorisation d’un “Road-Movie” sympatique comme tout, aussi plaisant à regarder qu’à écouter.

Pour ce faire il est parti d’une composition originale de DJ DeRaven

Hands is born from the meeting of 3 musicians : Gregfingers, Rodfinger and Allthefingers (ATF).

At first, all seemed to separate them, resulting from distant musical backgrounds, with different experiences and listening to music styles at the antipodes. They had nevertheless something in common : a serene approach of musical production, a solid culture for the good mood and respect of the other. Here is what were the fondations of the creation of Hands…

But, They needed something more… A sort of catalyst. This catalist was an order ! They were to create a beach compilation, for the summer. Having failed into seducing their customer with words only, and to proove themselves that they could do it, they decided to work on new tracks with the initial rules as a basis. Then the project took off, the titles began to chain together… Lots of coffee, long discussions… Then after having recreated the word almost ten times, the band felt addicted to the project. The machinery had started !

After the impact of the first listening among people around them, everybody wishes had grown up with an ambition at large, more “megalo”… Sorry, but it’s a normal need, isn’t it ?

HANDS was conscious of the professional aspect the project was following. An album means a lot of work, and time wasn’t on their side anymore. Regarding their wishes to see it ready for shipping in the summer… They would need to wait for the winter… And you too !

You know, The summer was full of surprises with the creation of 2 musics for video, Fantassin 2005 (Yes ! French army loves trance music !) and « Nuit Blanche » with Ferry Corsten… Himself !

The only way to be revealed before the summer was to create a cool web site and to prepare a Single CD… It’s done with CELEBRATE !
